On January 5th right after the long New Years holiday in Japan, the Big Thinking ever creative minds at Dentsu came up with a new Slogan.

Good Innovation?

Is it just me or is this slogan lame? A bit droopy in the noodle area? A slogan created from smoking weed and stuffing your face with pizza kinda creativity?

Now for you people who typed the keyword Prostitute, Dentsu is one of the biggest Ad agencies in the world. They have a 15% stake in Publicis Groupe, the Paris-based owner of Saatchi & Saatchi.

My question today is:

Will Dentsu create a new slogan next year because they realized that Good Innovation is just NO GOOD?

Was this the work of Yoshihiro Sato or one of them electronic translator devices? Is He still creative Director there?

Nike Cosplay Average Japanese Joe Gets a Makeover

This commercial is one of the most ridiculous commercials I’ve ever seen. But I love it! Not all Nike people are super jocks. This ad obviously targets the average Joe working dude. It also targets the family because of the super Rangers or whatever you want to call those people. It was on a very low budget an d it almost almost looked real. I wonder who did this commercial? Being NIKE IT WAS PROBABLY Dentsu.

This is a great example of how West meets east when it comes to creating Japanese commercials. Very memorable! Very catchy in the sense that the whole world is watching like our 24 hour CNN footage or similar to The Truman Show. Everyone remembers the bad guy and Carre de chocolate is the bad guy for very good intentions.
